WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview): The Non-Congregate Shelter/Shelter Resident Transition (NCS/SRT) Team Member supports the delivery of Red Cross services to clients staying at non-congregated shelters. NCS/SRT Team Member complete a range of tasks necessary for non-congregate shelter operations and compassionately and professionally interact with clients and hotel operators to ensure their needs are met. Additionally, NCS/SRT Team Members will be assigned to households to provide individualized, intensive casework support to help them develop a shelter resident transition plan to overcome their transition and recovery roadblocks. Services offered will include empowerment, transition planning, coaching, problem-solving, information, referrals & resources, advocacy, and when needed, needs-based financial assistance. Documentation will occur in RC Care, the Red Cross’ client management system of record & SICA, the Red Cross Shelter Client management system.
This position is located in Kahului, HI.

Standard Schedule: This is a temporary assignment expected to last 3 months to one year. Work hours are 12 hours per day 6 days per week.
