Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule and coordinate funerals, visitations, burials and cremations
  • Consult with families on service and merchandise options
  • Obtain information to complete legal documents and required permit.
  • Administrative procedures for files, records, contracts, state required forms and other office procedures and legal requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Must enjoy helping families at a difficult time
  • Ability to communicate and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to understand the general price list (GPL), funeral customs.
  • Good verbal, written and organizational skills
  • Neat, professional appearance
  • High School Diploma; preferably some college
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • Work experience in medical, hospitality, social worker or funeral industry is a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Teams and/or Excel a plus
