HVAC Projects Manager
General Responsibilities:
Provide Comprehensive Management and Technical Direction and Support in facets related to mechanical contracting projects.
Specific Tasks Include:
Project Management
-Coordinate and review submittals from vendors and contractors for materials and equipment
-Coordinate and review the development, implementation and issuance of Shop and As Built Drawings
-Coordinate and conduct Precon meetings with subcontractors and Vendors
-Coordinate, create and update project schedules, cost projections, and job budgets
-Initiate billings estimates and schedule of values
-Coordinate and issue submittals, construction drawings, change proposals, change orders
-Conduct weekly scheduling and field personnel work assignments
-Coordinate all close out documentation and activities
-Coordinate project quality control plan, daily reports, safety plans and procedures
Project Estimating
-Assist in the take off of materials and labor for piping and sheet metal projects
-Assist in developing project schedules and construction equipment
-Assist in the estimation for repair and replacement of air conditioning equipment
Engineering
-Provide mechanical engineering expertise in design build applications and value engineering aspects.
Related tasks as required:
-Draw upon computer background and knowledge for implementation for Engineering drawings and Estimating.
Experience Preferred:
-Five years HVAC Project Management and/or General Construction background
-College Graduate in Mechanical Engineering
