Manage and oversee accounting operations of two others
Manage and oversee financial aspects of HVAC Contracting with revenues averaging $15M
Manage company tax processes and collaborate with CPA for reporting purposes
Generate WIP and monthly Financial Reports
Oversee cash functions
Perform month end closing, including analysis of operation costs and results
Prepare annual budget
Coordinate annual review process with CPA
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations
Establishes or recommends to management, major corporate economic strategies, objectives, and policies for company.
Makes recommendations regarding the accounting of reserves, assets, and expenditures
Maintain, review a plan for staffing and give recommendation for ongoing changes.
Provide adequate training for accounting and administrative staff
Bachelors degree in accounting
8 - 10 years of progressive accounting management experience
Solid GAAP and financial reporting technical skills
Construction industry experience is a major factor
Knowledge of Timberline Accounting Software desirable
