Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic, highly organized, and quick-thinking Event Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be the boots on the ground, directing operations and ensuring our craft fairs run flawlessly from setup to breakdown. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent leadership skills, and brings the aloha spirit to every interaction with vendors, staff, and shoppers.

Key Responsibilities

• Event Operations: Coordinate and direct staff and vendors to ensure proper and efficient move-in and move-out procedures.
• Vendor Management: Ensure all vendors remain in compliance with event rules and safety guidelines from the beginning to the end of the event.
• Problem Solving: Think quickly on your feet to execute last-minute layout changes or resolve unexpected logistical issues.
• Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact on-site, providing exceptional customer service and answering questions from prospective vendors and shoppers.
• Physical Setup: Actively assist the team with the physical setup and breakdown of event equipment.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Availability: Must have open availability to work events currently scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Weekends.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to safely lift and carry at least 40 lbs and stand/walk on your feet for an average of 6 to 8 hours per shift.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and on-the-spot problem-solving skills. Previous experience in event coordination, hospitality, or management is highly preferred.

Compensation:

• This is a salaried position.
