Property Manager

Description:

We are looking for a professional and reliable Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our real estate assets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high occupancy rates, ensuring the physical integrity of the properties, and delivering exceptional service to both owners and tenants. This role requires a blend of administrative expertise, financial oversight, and hands-on maintenance coordination.


Key Responsibilities

  • Leasing & Tenant Relations:
    • Market vacant units and conduct tours for prospective tenants.
    • Screen applicants, perform background checks, and execute lease agreements.
    • Address tenant concerns and maintenance requests promptly to ensure high retention.
  • Property Maintenance & Safety:
    • Conduct regular on-site inspections to identify necessary repairs or safety hazards.
    • Supervise maintenance staff and external contractors (landscaping, plumbing, etc.).
    • Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and fair housing laws.
  • Financial Management:
    • Collect rent payments and manage delinquent accounts through appropriate legal channels.
    • Prepare and manage annual operating budgets and provide monthly financial reports to owners.
    • Review and approve invoices for property-related expenses.
  • Administrative Oversight:
    • Maintain accurate records of all tenant interactions, leases, and maintenance logs.
    • Coordinate move-in and move-out inspections and security deposit reconciliations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in property management or real estate.
  • Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor`s degree in Business or Real Estate preferred.
  • Certification: Real Estate License Required, Professional certifications (e.g., CPM or ARM) are a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in property management software such as Property Boss. 
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle conflict resolution professionally.
  • Availability: Must be available for occasional emergency calls outside of standard business hours.
