Our mission is to empower adults living with serious and persistent mental illness to develop the skills they need for independent living.

We are currently hiring a Life Skills Specialist for one of our group homes on Oahu. This is an exciting opportunity for compassionate, motivated individuals who want meaningful work that gives back to the community.

 What You`ll Be Doing:

As a Life Skills Specialist, you`ll work in a group home setting where you`ll:

• Support residents with developing essential life skills (cooking, budgeting, hygiene, etc.)
• Provide a safe, stable, and supportive environment to help adults prepare for independent living
• Maintain and oversee the home and property
• Work independently in a self-directed role that makes a meaningful impact every day

 What You`ll Need:

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid Hawaii Driver`s License and a clean driving abstract (no more than 3 violations in the past 3 years)
• Reliable vehicle with current registration, safety check, and insurance 
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening and sex offender checks

 Current Opportunity – Oahu:

Semi-Independent Group Home – Life Skills Specialist

• Hourly Rate: $16/hour + complimentary housing (for live-in staff)
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 10:00am–7:00pm
• Location: Olomana Group Home (Kailua)
• Position is open to live-in candidates (preferred) with complimentary housing, but non-live-in applicants can also be considered.
