CYBERCLINICS PROJECT FACILITATOR – ID# 225509.

Regular, Part-Time (75% FTE), Limited-Term (not to exceed twelve (12) months in duration from date of hire), RCUH Non-Civil Service position with the Google Cybersecurity Clinics in Hawai‘i project, NSF ATE project, NSA GenCyber Project and NSA Workforce Development project, located at the University of Hawai‘i Maui College (UHMC) in Kahului, Hawai‘i. Continuation of employment is dependent upon program/operational needs, satisfactory work performance, availability of funds, and compliance with applicable Federal/State laws. 

MONTHLY SALARY RANGE:  $2,317.50 - $4,126.50/Mon. (@75% FTE)

DUTIES:  Engages in a broad range of activities that support the Project`s PI and project partners. Provides logistical support for the Cybersecurity Clinics, NSF ATE project, NSA GenCyber Project and NSA Workforce Development project. Works with the Project leadership team to plan events and activities throughout the term of the project. Responsible for developing targeted outreach for Cybersecurity Clinics including updates via social media presence, web pages, annual project reports and presentations. Serves as the main point of contact for logistics, participants, and site registration. Creates and distributes social media announcements. Coordinates virtual meetings and makes arrangements for off-island staff.  Activities will also include processing timesheets, processing travel documents, and stipends or other benefits for the UH Student Participants. Purchasing materials and supplies, and processing stipends or other benefits for the UH Student Participants.  Analyzes and researches project needs to make appropriate recommendations and takes appropriate action in accordance with the federal cost principles, and UH and RCUH policies and procedures. Manages fiscal transactions, including budget projections and produces reports for the project. Collects and analyzes data and prepares reports on status of enrollment and retention, and project goals. Assists with the submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. 

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS: 

EDUCATION

Bachelor`s Degree from an accredited four (4) year college or university.

EXPERIENCE

One to three (1-3) years of general experience working in a college or university environment.

KNOWLEDGE

Working knowledge in the administration of education, State or Federal procurement processes. Strong knowledge of online RCUH procurement and human resources, and UH fiscal systems. Familiarity with UH policies and procedures.

ABILITIES & SKILLS

Ability to follow complex oral and written instruction. Ability to analyze, interpret, use critical thinking, sound logic and judgment in the application and interpretation of a variety of financial/administrative rules and regulations. Proficient in the use of basic Microsoft Office Suite software tools and online collaborative software tools. Proficient in drafting and proof-reading memos, letters, and e-mails for general office correspondence. Skilled in keeping accurate records and logs of activities needed for completion of projects and for reporting progress to others. Post Offer/Employment Condition: Must be able to pass a post offer criminal background check. Must be able to complete the UH Title IX training within 30 days from date of hire, and re-certify annually. Must be able to complete the UH Information Security Awareness Training (ISAT) within two (2) weeks from date of hire, and re- certify every twelve (12) months.

SECONDARY QUALIFICATIONS:   

Experience working on a federal grant.
