General Position Description
The bookkeeper / administrative associate will predominantly handle the bookkeeping and follow up for rental receipts and accounts payable, but will also generate purchase orders, invoices, standard and customized reports; work with rental applicants and residents on matters relating to income qualifications; assist with inventory and maintenance work orders; and provide other administrative assistance wherever needed.
Position Qualifications
Candidates should have five consecutive years of bookkeeping job experience and possess understanding of basic accounting. Must have general administrative work experience and general competency in Word, Excel, and database applications. Ideal applicants will be highly accurate and deadline driven. Some understanding of low income and fair housing regulations would be helpful.
