We are looking for a receptionist to join our team, someone with a positive attitude and a desire to learn. We are growing and thriving in all areas of our business and are looking to add a capable team member who is ready to jump in. The individual needs to be personable, organized, detail oriented, punctual and possess strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. This position is critical to keeping the office running smoothly and efficiently.

This is a part-time position (16 to 20 hrs/week) with benefits, starting February 2025. This may change based on need and circumstances at the time.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with clients
• Maintain confidentiality of client, staff, and company information
• Answer, screen and transfer incoming phone calls as well as take messages for staff
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and other arrangements as assigned
• Process tax returns for mailing, forms, and other related tax payments for clients

Minimum Qualifications

• Good communication and writing skills
• Ability to multitask
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in English
• Work experience in an office environment
• High School diploma or equivalent education
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in office administration at an accounting firm
• Knowledge in tax and accounting functions
