Job Title: Night Order Puller

Summary

To pull our customers' orders in a timely and efficient manner and station the orders on the appropriate loading dock.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPS) and Job Safety.
• Pull the customers' orders (boxing, labeling and shrink wrap each order).
• Checking product quality (making sure items are fresh and top quality)
• Complete Pre-operation log each day (Inspection of the produce pulling area for cleanliness).
• Clean and maintain work area and reefers which includes: Cleaning and sanitizing the tables, sweeping the floors especially under the tables, turn off scales, picking up produce off the ground in the coolers, etc.
• Clean and put equipment away at the end of the shift, i.e. wagons, brooms and dust pans, crates, boxes, etc.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• Must have at least 2 yrs minimum of warehouse experience.
• Produce knowledge preferred but not necessary.
• Must be able to work in a refrigerated area, (temperatures range from 30 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit).
• Ability to read pounds and tenth of pounds on a scale.
• Must be able to be on your feet for the entire shift.
• Must be able to work overtime
• Experience with the Bar Code Scanners preferred but will train

Working Conditions

• Temperatures in the warehouse range from 30 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Must wear hairnet and gloves when in the warehouse and are pulling orders.
• No jewelry or personal cell phones are allowed in the warehouse.  
• No food or beverages are allowed in the warehouse.
