POSITION SUMMARY:

Webco is seeking a hands-on, service-oriented IT Support Specialist to support daily technology operations and ensure employees can reliably access the systems, devices, and tools they need. This role provides first and second-level technical support, manages user devices and system access, and helps maintain a stable, secure, and efficient technology environment.

The position works closely with employees across the company to resolve technology issues efficiently, maintain stable system performance, and support business operations. The role also assists with device lifecycle management, mobile device support, documentation, and coordination with vendors when necessary.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:

This position emphasizes practical problem-solving, responsive support to teammates, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly. The role is primarily based onsite at Webco`s Mapunapuna location and may provide in-person support at the Komohana facility from time to time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-level technical support to employees across the company
  • Trouble shoot hardware, software, login, email, printing, and connectivity issues
  • Respond to support requests in person, by phone, or electronically
  • Take ownership of issues through resolution and escalate when necessary
  • Set up laptops, desktops, iPads, and peripheral devices for new and existing employees
  • Configure system logins, permissions, and access rights
  • Support onboarding and offboarding technology setup and access removal
  • Maintain IT asset inventory including laptops, notebooks, iPads, and mobile devices
  • Manage company iPads and notebooks including setup, updates, and troubleshooting
  • Support Verizon/mobile device management including activation, configuration, and issue resolution
  • Maintain accurate device lifecycle and asset records
  • Track and document support requests, issues, and resolutions
  • Assist with installation, updates, and routine maintenance of hardware and software
  • Maintain clear technical procedures and documentation
  • Coordinate with vendors when needed
  • Identify recurring issues and suggest practical improvements
  • Assist with business continuity and recovery activities when required
  • Participate in occasional after-hours or on-call support if needed
  • Perform other duties that support the business and teams

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • 1–3 years IT support or help desk experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Clear communication and customer service mindset
  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities

Preferred Skills

  • Experience managing laptops, iPads, and mobile devices
  • Experience with Verizon or mobile device platforms
  • Experience with asset tracking or inventory systems
  • Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Basic IT certification (A+, ITIL, or similar) helpful but not required

COMPENSATION

$60,000-$90,000

Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate`s experience, qualifications, internal equity, and current market conditions.  Webco offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our employees and their families. Work Hours:

  • Normal work hours (8am to 5pm).  Must also be flexible.  Monday to Friday.
