CPA firm is looking for Senior Accountants for our Tax and Audit & Accounting departments. 

Senior Accountants perform most engagements with little supervision. They direct and review the work of staff accountants and are capable of making decisions on audit, accounting and tax matters. 

We are a local certified public accounting firm located in downtown Honolulu and provide audit, accounting, tax and advisory services to a diverse clientele ranging from individuals to multinational corporations. 

Essential Functions

• Possess technical knowledge sufficient to supervise staff accountants
• Acquire the skills necessary to develop quality client relationships and loyalty
• Develop a command of pertinent audit and accounting standards or tax standards
• Proficient at audit, accounting and tax research including a knowledge of the reference sources available
• Evaluate the performance of staff accountants
• Assume responsibility for the supervision of audit, accounting, tax and advisory engagements
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise the various phases of an audit, accounting, tax and advisory engagement
• Perform other duties as assigned by engagement managers or directors

Qualifications

• Bachelor`s degree in Accounting; Master`s degree preferred
• CPA license strongly preferred
• Minimum 3 years of public accounting experience
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Self-starter with strong organizational and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
