Our Foods Receivers are responsible for all of Food & Beverage related warehouse deliveries inbound or outbound. This role facilitates the sourcing & research of products, confirms accuracy and quality compliance of all deliveries through verification, reconiciliation, inspection and adherence to Food Safety standards. They have financial responsibility for the accurate and efficient payment of all invoices. This role has significant partnerships with Sourcing & Procurement, Vendors and key Operational partners. They provide high degree of service levels to the Chefs/Leaders within the property.ResponsibilitiesWorking knowledge of computers and windows based programs (word, excel, outlook)Count and order products on a daily basisMaintains/updates necessary data/SKU's and completes food inventories in a food management systemProvide management with requested/necessary food management reportsMaintain appropriate inventory levels to meet business demandEnsure all products arrive when dueAssist checking in deliveries; food, liquor, wine and non food productsEnsure and confirm accuracy of deliveries/verifying packing slips to include weighing of productsPull, stock, and deliver productsAbility to provide guidance and direction to Receiving AssistantsConduct and follow weekly and or monthly inventory proceduresReconcile and pay invoicesTrack and research creditsCompletes spoilage and transfer transactions in the Food Management System and ensures accuracyEnsure proper storage, rotation, dating, and of productsUnderstand the principles of proper sanitationAbility to work flexible shifts and days off to include third shiftAbility to read and write EnglishAbility to operate a motor vehicle – must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record for 12 monthsAbility to utilize/operate receiving equipment (i.e., pallet jacks, rider pallet jacks, forklifts, etc)Ability to maintain all internal product tracking and ordering documentsAbility to research and source items from various vendorsBasic QualificationsOccasional walking, standing, liftingConstantly lifting over 10 lbs., the ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs.Frequently bending/twisting at the waist, occasionally bending/twisting of the head or neck, occasionally kneelingConstant use of hands, using repetitive wrist motionAbility to utilize a ladder or step stoolIndoor/Outdoor work locationAbility to tolerate extreme temperature changes – (IE. in and out of freezers/coolersPreferred QualificationsExperience in Food and Beverage and product knowledgeExperience with ordering/inventory management tools or systemsPrevious experience in a warehouse/inventory control/supply chain environmentThe pay rate for this role in Hawaii is $34.30 per hour.
