WIT is one of the largest Parker Distributors in North America, providing customers with hydraulic and pneumatic solutions.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOperates Saws, Hydraulic Crimpers, and Forklift operationHose and valve productionShip and receive from various companies (primarily UPS • Pulling sales & production ordersCustomer interface (Will Calls)Pick-up/Deliver material & parts as requiredOrganizes and restocks products in the warehouseKeeps warehouse clean and organizedUpdates supervisor on the status of inventory, shipments, and deliveriesOperates forklift and other machinery needed to transport heavy items around the warehouseDetail oriented inventory countingComputer skillsWORKING CONDITIONSWorkday is a standard 8 hours and is spent in a warehouse setting.Required Knowledge, Skill and AbilitiesShipping & Receiving experience, desiredCan safely operate Saws and ForkliftsBasic mathematical skillsPays close attention to detail, a skill essential in identifying order discrepancies & product deficienciesProblem Solving skills requiredAble to lift 50+ poundsMechanical AptitudeExhibits effective communication skillsMust be able to multi-task and work efficientlyAble to work independently or in a team environmentTeam orientedMINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or GED is requiredPREFERRED EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSForklift experience is desirableWarehouse Management Systems and other inventory management software experience are desirableFluid power experience is desirablePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSTalk, hear, stand, walk; reach with hands and arms; pushing and pullingLift up to 50 lbs. and engage in assisted safe lifting of larger itemsMust be able to stand for long periods of time; climb or balance; kneel and crouch.We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer M/F/V/D.
