Location: Waikiki (Honolulu, HI)

Employment Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, variable hours (40 hours per week)

Hourly Pay Rate: $17.00

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness of common areas within the building: Sweep, mop, dust (low and high areas), wipe down, and sanitize surfaces; empty trash receptacles/cardboard recycling; and dispose of waste in the designated areas.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants is a vital quality for this role.
• Clean restrooms, elevators and escalators.
• Maintain a pristine parking garage and the surrounding areas across multiple levels.
• Clean or spot-clean common area furniture
• Remove gum from floors
• Clean glass surfaces
• Work independently while maintaining team communication
• Respond to hotline calls via 2-way radio

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must pass prescreen check.
• Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred.
• Capable of performing tasks in any type of weather.
• Willingness to learn and undergo training for the role.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Good communication in English and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Physically capable of carrying, lifting, pushing, pulling a minimum of 25 pounds up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and performing tasks such as stretching, kneeling, bending, crawling, climbing and pressing.
