Court Operations Specialist II

The Court Operations Specialist II independently performs a variety of work assignments of limited difficulty and complexity where objectives are clear and specific, and does not require the services of a fully trained Court Operations Specialist. Workassignments concentrate in one or more program areas and/or a selected portion of more complex, extensive projects and activities which is recognized as a responsibility of higher level Court Operations Specialists.

Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree, or progressively responsible experience in administrative, professional, investigative, technical or other responsible work which has provided a general background of the type and quality described below may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis. General Experience: Applicants must possess six (6) months of progressively responsible technical work experience which involved analyzing, interpreting or evaluating technical material (e.g., statutes, rules and regulations); solving technical problems through the application of problem solving methods and techniques, such as identifying the problem and pertinent causal factors, developing and evaluating alternative solutions, and recommending/implementing an appropriate course of action; and writing narrative reports. For example, qualifying technical experience may include, but is not limited to, responsibility for supervising or overseeing the operational activities of a unit or section whose primary function is the preparation and/or processing of legal documents OR technical experience which involved applying and interpreting technical material such as statute, rules, policies where no precedents are available. Selective Certification Requirement - Driver's License: For certain positions, applicants must possess a current and valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle.
