Packers/Warehouse Associates

Our client, a leading fresh food distribution company based in Honolulu, HI, is seeking two Packers/Warehouse Associates to join their team. This is a great opportunity for individuals with 0-3 years of experience looking to grow in a fast-paced industrial setting. No industrial equipment experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pack and repack products per specifications
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials
• Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools
• Clean containers, materials, and work areas using approved solutions and tools
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure packing specifications are met
• Load products into package processing equipment
• Mark and label containers, tags, or products using marking tools
• Obtain, move, and sort products, materials, and containers using hand tools
• Place or pour products/materials into containers using hand tools and equipment
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms
• Remove completed or defective products/materials
• Seal containers or materials as needed

Required Qualifications:

• 0-3 years of relevant work experience
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, lifting, and repetitive motion
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic ability to use hand tools
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior warehouse, packing, or production experience
• Experience working in a food distribution or similar industrial environment

This is a contract position with an estimated duration based on business needs, totaling approximately 2,080 hours. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (8 hours/day, 40 hours/week). This role is based on-site in Honolulu, HI, with no travel required. No industrial equipment operation is involved in this position. Two positions are currently available.
