Warehouse AssociateWe are looking for motivated individuals who enjoy a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for shipping and receiving ocean freight containers and trailers at our facility on Oahu, HI. The ideal candidate is responsible, committed to quality service, and can operate a sit-down forklift. You will be on your feet all day standing or walking on the concrete floor in our 77,000 square foot warehouse. You must be okay working in multiple temperatures.Key Responsibilities:Load and unload shipping containers with a forklift effectively and safelyPrepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)Perform inventory controls and keep high-quality standards for auditsMaintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilizationReport any inventory or product discrepanciesCommunicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkersOperate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipmentFollow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulationsOther duties may be assignedEducation & Experience:High School, GED, or equivalent experienceExperience receiving LTL freight is required2 to 5 years of sit-down forklift experience in a Freight Forwarding environmentPrevious experience loading containers is preferred.Essential Skills:Responsible and reliable transportationExcellent time management skillsForklift Certification is preferredAbility to lift heavy objectsAbility to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment
