Scheduler Position

Mantech seeks motivated, career and customer-oriented schedulers to join our team in Oahu Hawaii, Dallas Texas and Herndon Virginia. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leads the technical execution of project schedules and validates the accuracy of scheduling data for senior management review.
  • Coordinate the investigation of schedule discrepancies and lead the development of technical root cause analyses for milestone delays.
  • Monitor schedule performance against established benchmarks and validate the implementation of schedule improvements.
  • Conducts specialized technical scheduling reviews for mission execution tasks intended for diverse theater mission partners.
  • Validate the technical accuracy of schedule reports and lead field-level assessments of task completion and distribution procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance to staff to ensure that all project schedules meet theater-specific and command-mandated standards.
  • Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.

Note: Multiple levels of seniority are available based on qualifications and experience. Please see below. Minimum qualifications: senior level.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field and 10+ years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).
  • Experience in formal schedule oversight and leading technical root cause analysis for schedule delays.

Midlevel

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field and 3+ years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and technical reporting.

Junior level

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field (related experience may be substituted in lieu of education).

Preferred qualifications:

  • PMI-SP or CAPM certification.
  • DAWIA Level II in program management (or equivalent).
  • Experience with DoW scheduling tools and performance measurement for expeditionary projects.

Clearance required:

  • Must hold an active secret clearance.

Physical requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
