As an Airport Security Officer: Part Time Security Operations in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Pay Rate: $25.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Fri 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM Sun 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 1+ years of Security Experience
• 21+ years of age
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, airport personnel, visitors, and other stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established airport and government location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned airport areas, including terminals, parking areas, access points, perimeter locations, and other designated spaces.
• Monitor access to restricted or controlled areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized activity or suspicious conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with supervisors, airport operations personnel, and emergency responders regarding incidents and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
