SALARY RANGE: $16.00 Hourly
Security is the first Mid-Pacific Institute employee that the public comes into contact with for entrance onto campus and/or to seek information. Security is responsible for, but not limited to, monitoring campus entry and exit points, patrolling the premises of the school campus to detect suspicious activity, and assisting administration, faculty, staff, students, and visitors to ensure the safety of all individuals and the protection of all assets.
Security shall provide information and requests that comply with safety and other Mid-Pacific Institute policies as directed on campus.
Mid-Pacific maintains a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week security presence to ensure the safety and security of our students, employees, visitors, and campus facilities. Security Officers may be assigned to any of the following shifts based on operational needs:
On-Call Security Officers work on an as-needed basis and are typically scheduled for less than 20 hours per week. Individuals in this role must be available to cover day, swing, and overnight shifts, seven days a week, including weekends, holidays, school events, and other special campus activities. On-Call Officers provide supplemental staffing support to address absences, increased security needs, and special event coverage.
