Position Overview

• Start Date: May 26, 2026
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8-hour rotating shifts
• Weekend Requirement: Consecutive weekends as needed
• Employment Type: Contract (W2)

• Perform decontamination, inspection, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment
• Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization standards
• Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner
• Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams to support patient care operations
• Adhere to facility policies, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines

• Certified Sterile Processing Technician (required prior to start)
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
• Active state license
• Ability to work rotating shifts and holiday coverage as needed
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

• Mid-sized hospital (150-500 beds)
• Trauma Level III facility
• Streamlined onboarding process (not affiliated with Hawaii Health Systems Corporation)

• Guaranteed full-time hours each week
• Overtime and holiday compensation available per facility policy
• No on-call requirements
• Candidates must be flexible with scheduling needs, including weekends and holidays
