Job Description Position Purpose: The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud and supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store/multiple stores.They utilize tools to minimize loss to the Company, including but not limited to:identifying incidents of theft and fraudreviewing CCTV and exception reportsmonitoring the store's physical securityauditing the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS)driving a shrink elimination culture in the storeOther responsibilities include:preparing accurate and detailed case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveriespreserving evidenceinteracting with law enforcement and testifying in criminal and civil court actionsreporting hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Dutycarrying out job responsibilities in a manner that minimizes the risk of injury to themselves, other associates, vendors, customers, and the Companydemonstrating integrity at all times, responding to asset protection and operational concerns of all associates, and remaining focused on store‑specific business objectives while supporting key asset protection and operational responsibilities$23.50We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.#J-18808-Ljbffr
