Aquatics Specialist II (Assistant Waterpolo Coach)

Punahou Aquatics is seeking an Aquatics Specialist II (Assistant Waterpolo Coach). The ideal candidate will work with students ranging from 12-18 years old that are in both the developmental and competitive phase of the sport. The position will require mornings and/or evening practices during the week as well as the possibility of working weekends.

Position Details:

• Work Year: 9 Months
• Work Hours: Tuesdays, 6:00 AM - 7:30 AM; Wednesday, 6:00 AM - 7:30 PM; Saturdays, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Schedule will vary based on operational needs.
• Minimum Hourly Rate*: $17.00/Hour - Compensation is commensurate with qualifications.

Pay for selected candidates will be determined by various factors such as knowledge, skills, abilities, relevant training and experience, and internal equity.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• One (1) year of recent waterpolo coaching experience and/or equivalent experience.
• Water Safety Instructor certification and/or equivalent experience.
• Have/willing to obtain necessary USA Waterpolo Certifications.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Positive, energetic and team oriented.
