We are committed to diversity and inclusion.Basic FunctionThe Baggage Storage Associate is expected to provide superior customer service while promoting Smarte Carte Baggage Storage and Services to travelers.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver premier customer serviceGreet and assist inbound travelers and encourage the use of our services to maximize their travel experienceFollow established process for tagging and tracking customer property (Baggage Storage Standard Operations Procedure)Communicate baggage storage requirements to customersProcess cash and credit card payments using POS registerProvide information and respond to inquiries about airport facilities, including but not limited to, baggage carousel informationMaintain a clean and organized work areaWear company prescribed uniform, maintain a neat and well groomed appearanceOther duties as assignedSkills & QualificationsPassionate approach to customer, able to handle client needs and concernsProactive approach in applying sales practicesPositive attitude, strong work ethicCultural awarenessAbility to work in a hectic, fast paced environment while maintaining a calm, positive, efficient, and comforting dispositionAbility to work independentlyAbility to learn new applications as neededAirport and/or airline hospitality service experience a plusExcellent verbal and communication skillsCertifications / LicensesAbility to obtain airport badge is requiredPhysical RequirementsMust be able to push/pull and lift 40 lbsMust be able to stand/walk for long periods of timeEqual Opportunity Employer: This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
