The Hawaii office offers a unique experience of acting as a sub-agency for CMA CGM (America) LLC – Norfolk. As a Honolulu Cargo Flow Officer, one will execute a multi-functional role of customer service, finance, and operations responsibilities. This position serves as the principal CMA CGM contact for all vessel and equipment operations, customers inquiring about either import or export cargo, and expediting all issues by quickly resolving to reduce service failures or loss of business. This position supports CMA CGM's Honolulu office overall business strategy and requires associates who are passionate about customers, can demonstrate the ability to adapt to our industry's constant changing environment, execute the essential functions and duties as well as the day-to-day responsibilities.
Understanding of phone etiquette, background handling international customers a plus. Concept comprehension of active listening, which includes demonstrating empathy. Must have a strong foundation in problem solving and conflict resolution. Knowledge of the Maritime Shipping Industry. Knowledge of vessel and equipment operations. Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Strong organizational, time management and a high level of analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Proficiency in computer skills to include all Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)

Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, skills, performance, education, and experience. The expected salary range for this position is $65,000- 80,000 per year. The actual salary offered will be based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
