Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Histology Technologist for a travel job in Aiea, Hawaii. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Histology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 07/27/2026 Duration: 26 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Histo logy Technician position located in Aiea, Hawaii. This role involves performing histological techniques, routine and special staining, and preparation of surgical and cytologic specimens. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. Job Details: Address: Aiea, HI, United States Shift Hours: 10 hours Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours Start Date: 06/22/2026 Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; BS in a chemical, biological, or clinical laboratory science from an accredited institution (preferred); two (2) years of recent work experience as a histology technician; certification as a Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with autopsies, frozen sections, grossing, MOHS surgery, and working with special stains. Additional Information: Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written. Capable of working independently and in a team environment. Excellent customer service and coaching skills. Demonstrates good judgment and decision-making ability. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar applications. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and troubleshoot issues. Familiarity with Laboratory Information System (LIS). Physical demands include manual dexterity, ability to distinguish colors, and lifting up to 35 pounds occasionally. Work environment includes indoor, air-conditioned laboratory settings with potential exposure to hazardous chemicals and infectious materials.
