Security Specialist

You will serve as a Security Specialist in the EKMS Division (N00SM4), Security Manager Department (N00SM) at Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station (NCTAMS).

You will handle guidelines, methods, precedents and techniques applicable to all phases of Communications Security (COMSEC) management.

You will serve as the assistant to the Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) Manager for the Mobile User's Objective System (MUOS) account.

You will work directly with Naval Communications Security Material System (NCMS) and Naval Information Warfare Command (NIWC) to verify processes and procedures being developed concerning KMI use within the program.

You will identify and provide documentation to problem areas and recommend solutions.

You will consult and advise the Regional Communications Security (COMSEC) Manager in the development, implementation and management of policy in all KMI and COMSEC matters both technical and administrative.

You will prepare and manage the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) for all COMSEC and KMI material/cryptographic equipment.

You will conduct required drills of the EAP and provide training and guidance to all communication users.

You will advise the communications community in matters pertaining to the management and administration of security and handling of COMSEC Material System (CMS) material.

You will provide solutions to security problems and questions and develop alternatives designed to meet requirements in a variety of circumstances.
