IT Specialist (Infosec/Network)

You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC/NETWORK) in the Information Technology Service Mgmt, Pacific Region Network Operations Center, Operations Department at Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station, Pacific (NCTAMS PAC).

You will plan, coordinate, install, and continuously analyze system design, hardware and software.

You will analyze hardware and software malfunctions to resolve physical and logical processing problems.

You will initiate corrective or preventative measures to rectify immediate problems and prevent future occurrences.

You will provide on-going optimization and problem-solving support; continually surveys system operation to identify potential problems which could lead to loss or serious interruption of service.

You will coordinate efforts between system customers, support personnel, and commercial vendors to identify and resolve hardware, software, and other system anomalies.

You will provide proactive consultation and instruction with system users to ensure seamless implementation of changes.

You will conduct security accreditation reviews for installed systems or networks and assessing and advising on new or revised security measures and countermeasures.
