Job Details

The Lead Food Service Worker works closely with the Operations Manager, Production Manager and/or Administration Manager to ensure that standards are met in the assigned operational area(s). Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities and directing assigned staff to perform in a safe and efficient manner. Provide support, guidance and training to the Food Service Workers and Student Workers.

Position Details:

• Work Year: 12 Months
• Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Schedule may vary based on operational needs

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED). Associate's Degree preferred.
• Three (3) years of experience in food preparation; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior work experience as a lead or in supervising employees preferred.
• ServSafe Certification, or equivalent, is a requirement.
• If incumbent does not have this certification coming into the position, he/she will be required to obtain the certification within six (6) months from entering into the job.
