The role involves performing ultrasound imaging of the heart using specialized equipment, supporting diagnostic processes in a high-acuity medical setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. Job Details: Location: Honolulu, Hawaii Specialty: Ultrasonographer Echo Shift Hours: 12-hour rotating shifts Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours Start Date: 07/20/2026 Required Qualifications: Board registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) in cardiac sonography; current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Healthcare Provider (HCP); valid licenses and certifications throughout the contract duration; one or more years of full-time staff experience as a Cardiac Sonographer in a medical center with 500 beds and Level 1 Trauma designation; two or more years of experience highly preferred; experience administering Definity required. Additional Information: Compliance must be completed at least 10 days prior to the start date; failure to do so will delay or cancel the assignment. A current NURSYS report is required with submissions. If an RN is not needed for their unit, staff may be assigned as a nursing assistant or safety sitter, and are expected to fulfill these roles.
