The Department of Planning and Permitting, Site Development Division, is hiring for one (1) Construction Inspector position in Honolulu. This position independently inspects subdivision and infrastructure construction projectssuch as streets, drainage, sewer, storm water, traffic markings, and ADA improvementsto ensure work meets approved plans, permits, City standards, and National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) requirements.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:
At time of application, you must be a citizen, national or permanent resident alien of the United States or a non-citizen eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment. EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Equivalent to graduation from high school. Responsible work experience demonstrating the ability to perform the essential functions of the job may substitute for education. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: TWO (2) years of experience in inspecting or supervising construction work. Must be able to:
