Marine Welder – Navy Submarine Projects at Aerotek Location: Honolulu, HawaiīClearance: Secret Clearance Highly PreferredTransitioning Military Personnel Encouraged to ApplyAbout the Role We're seeking skilled and dedicated Marine Welders to support critical welding operations on U.S. Navy submarines in beautiful Honolulu. This is a hands‑on, mission‑driven role where precision, safety, and craftsmanship are paramount. If you thrive in high‑stakes environments and take pride in supporting national defense, we want you on our team.Key Responsibilities Perform structural and pipe welding on submarine hulls and internal systemsRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding proceduresOperate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and stick weldersConduct inspections and ensure welds meet Navy and industry standardsWork in confined spaces and adhere to strict safety protocolsCollaborate with engineering and quality assurance teamsQualifications Proven experience in marine or industrial welding (submarine or shipyard experience a plus)Proficiency in various welding techniques and materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, etc.)Ability to pass weld certification tests (NAVSEA standards preferred)Comfortable working in tight quarters and variable conditionsU.S. Citizenship requiredActive or previous Secret Clearance highly preferredPreferred Experience Transitioning military personnel with welding or shipfitting experiencePrior work in Navy shipyards or submarine maintenanceFamiliarity with military protocols and standardsWhat We Offer Competitive pay and benefitsOpportunities for advancement and certificationSupportive team environment with a strong mission focusRelocation assistance available for qualified candidatesJob Type & Location Permanent position based out of Honolulu, HI.Pay and Benefits Pay range: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour.
