  • Patient Intake: Interview patients to record medical history and measure vital signs like blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature.
  • Exam Assistance: Prepare patients for examinations and assist doctors during physical or minor surgical procedures.
  • Laboratory Work: Collect, prepare, and process biological specimens (like blood or urine) for laboratory testing.
  • Treatments: Administer medications, give injections, remove sutures, and apply or change wound dressings under a physician's direct supervision.
  • Sterilization: Clean and sterilize medical instruments and sanitize examination rooms between patients.
Administrative Responsibilities
  • Scheduling: Book patient appointments, manage the daily clinic calendar, and arrange for outside lab tests or hospital stays.
  • Record Keeping: Update and maintain Electronic Medical Records (EMR) with personal details, visit notes, and test results.
  • Front Office: Greet patients, answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and verify patient insurance coverage.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor medical and office supply levels, restock rooms, and place orders as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honolulu, HI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
