IT Business Systems Analyst III
As the IT Business Systems Analyst III, you will serve as a technical lead with cross-functional partnerships to support and enhance Hawaii State Federal Credit Union's core banking and related business applications.
Bringing your expertise in financial institutions' technical platforms, you will manage cross-functional projects and initiatives. You will develop close working relationships with business units, vendors, and IT teams to analyze processes, gather requirements, support production systems, and deliver moderately complex initiatives. Serving as a senior individual contributor and mentor, you have the unique opportunity to spur the professional growth of junior analysts, providing guidance while leading workstreams and ensuring reliable, secure application operations for our members.
Please note that this position is in-office at our HSFCU Headquarters in Downtown Honolulu.
Salary Range:
- Minimum - $76,438
- Maximum - $122,302
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary analyst for assigned business and core banking applications.
- Lead requirements-gathering, process analysis, and solution evaluation for moderately complex initiatives.
- Support production systems through issue analysis, testing, documentation, and vendor coordination.
- Participate in and support IT projects, including planning, testing, and implementation.
- Coordinate changes through established change management processes.
- Partner with vendors on issue resolution, upgrades, and roadmap discussions.
- Document systems, processes, and procedures to support knowledge sharing and operational consistency.
- Mentor and provide work guidance to Business Systems Analyst I and II roles.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve efficiency and effectiveness through technology.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience supporting and analyzing enterprise business applications
- 3+ years of enterprise IT project management experience
- Expert knowledge of SDLC processes and best practices for managing software releases
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience with core banking systems and integrated banking systems
- Experience supporting or implementing lending loan origination systems (LOS)
- Experience partnering with lending operations, credit, compliance, or underwriting teams
- Business analysis or project management certifications (CBAP, CAPM, ITIL, or similar)
