The Engineer - Powerplant (AOG) provides world-class customer service while keeping safety and compliance the top priorities. This individual contributor position is a primary powerplant engineer in support of any current / imminent aircraft on the ground or potential operational impact avoidance activities for Alaska Airlines (AS). Key Duties Associate (P 1) Contributes to the application and management of the Alaska ETOPS and APU on-demand programs. Contributes to the application and management of the Engine Condition Monitoring Program. Assists Maintenance and Technical Services teams with troubleshooting for resolution to systemic / chronic powerplant issues, minimizing aircraft downtime for unscheduled maintenance. Reviews all Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommendations - Service Bulletins (S - Bs), Service Letters (S - Ls), etc.- applicable to the fleet.
