US Department of Defense - - Responsibilities: Independently install, modify, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and equipment such as water supply, sewage disposal, gas distribution, oil lines, water closets, backflow devices, fire sprinkler systems, and showers; Plan and execute work from initial layout to final assembly using building plans, specifications, blueprints, sketches, and plumbing codes; Troubleshoot/test plumbing systems and equipment including backflow devices and cross-connection devices; Use and maintain tools and safety equipment to ensure a safe, clean work environment; Work in various positions (standing, bending, climbing) and lift parts weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted
