Transportation Civil EIT/Coordinator

Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.The primary duties of the Transportation Civil Coordinator-EIT include:* Work on a team with other project engineers on the design of highways and roads, and waterfront and aviationinfrastructure projects.* Design alignments and profiles, geometric layouts, utilities and drainage infrastructure, and develop plans, specificationsand construction estimates.* Aid with the creation of engineering calculations and technical reports.* Provide assistance with engineering services during construction, including responding to requests for information,reviewing material submittals, and performing construction inspections.* Working independently on small tasks and assisting senior engineers on larger, more complex projects.* Being responsible for supporting the development of new and existing Transportation clients in Hawaii and the PacificRegion.Preferred Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.* EIT certification strongly preferred. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Civil Coordinator" and will beexpected to obtain their EIT for career progression.* Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm preferred, but not required.* Experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D preferred, but not required.* Preference given to local candidatesRequired Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar field* An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
