Managing grant funding to support Honolulu's community programs. The Department of Community Services (DCS), Grants Management Division, is seeking a grants professional to support the distribution, administration, and monitoring of City-funded programs. In this role, youll help ensure grant funds are awarded, managed, and used effectively to support community services. What You'll Do:Prepare Requests for Proposal (RFP) for qualifying potential grant recipients. Ensure compliance with applicable rules and ordinances. Negotiate, prepare, and manage contracts Issue Notices to Proceed (NTP) in a timely manner Monitor grant activities by reviewing monthly payments and site visits. Special Working Requirements:Serves as Disaster Support Worker during Civil Defense emergencies. May be required to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
