Job Title

The role involves preparing, coordinating, and conducting established classroom trade theory instruction and on-the-job training for apprentices.

The duties include determining the depth of employee's trade knowledge, providing mentoring, and coordinating training opportunities to ensure skill gaps are addressed.

Additionally, you will prepare period updates related to training records and reports to the Trades Development Program Manager; provide periodic appraisals for the apprentice to document attendance, academic and OJT progress and accomplishments.

You will schedule and coordinate on-the-job training with various shops and assure that OJT is appropriate and aligned with the training plan.

The role also involves training apprentices in the best method for correcting malfunctions and the skill to make repairs to a variety of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

Researches and implements leading-edge practices and techniques as well as the procurement and deployment of modern tools and equipment.
