Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Veterinary Assistant role based in our Honolulu, HI, location. The Veterinary Assistant will assist veterinarians and technicians with animal care, including feeding, grooming, and handling of cats. Responsibilities include providing support during medical procedures, maintaining clean and organized facilities, educating clients about pet care, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of all feline patients. The role will also involve interacting with clients, answering questions, and addressing their concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Animal Care and Pet Care, with a deep understanding of feline behavior and comfort
• Experience in Veterinary Medicine, including assisting in medical procedures and understanding basic veterinary practices
• Excellent Client Education and Customer Service abilities to guide and communicate effectively with pet owners
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for animal welfare are essential qualities
• Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or pet care environment is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in veterinary science or a related field is advantageous
