Job Location: Honolulu (Kahala or Kalihi) Compensation: $4500-$6000/month Employment Type: Direct Hire - Full Time (or Part-Time) Work Schedule: Wednesday closed 5pm-10pm
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare sushi and other Japanese dishes according to established recipes and standards
Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sushi preparation
Maintain a clean and organized work station
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely service
Assist with takeout orders as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role is preferred
Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and Japanese cuisine
Ability to handle knives and other kitchen equipment safely
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Japanese and English language ability
