Work Schedule: Flex 7am-3pm (Must be able to work on weekends)

Systems-based artisan gelato kitchen seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Kitchen Production team member.
This is a hands-on production role focused on consistency, organization, and execution.
You will produce gelato and prepare components using established recipes, systems, and daily checklists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently operate the batch freezer: set up, spin, monitor texture, and extract gelato at the correct stage
• Prepare bases, pre-freeze pans, label, and date all products before and after production
• Taste-test every flavor and initial the label to guarantee quality
• Measure and incorporate mix-ins according to Jolt recipe guides; flag when mix-ins need restocking
• Monitor gelato stability (shiny vs. matte) and prioritize freezer storage to protect texture
• Manage nut-containing flavors separately and reorganize spin order accordingly
• Properly clean and break down the batch freezer after each use; scrape and dispose of butterfat correctly
• Maintain a clean, organized mixing station and common kitchen areas throughout the shift
• Follow and complete daily and weekly Jolt production checklists
• Communicate updates, questions, and concerns via Slack or in person with the kitchen manager

• Ability to follow detailed processes and systems independently, without repeated direction
• Strong attention to detail and consistent quality awareness
• Experience in a production kitchen, food manufacturing, or similar environment preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and accountable - completes full shifts and confirms work before leaving
• Professional communication and team-oriented interpersonal skills
• Ability to take feedback, adjust quickly, and take ownership of outcomes
• Comfortable using a smartphone app (Jolt) for checklists and scheduling
