The responsibilities of this position comprise of teaching assigned courses in Art, Art History, and related fields. As an Adjunct Faculty member, the post holder is expected to perform all duties professionally, is expected to remain current in the discipline and pedagogy and ethically support the policies and mission of the University. Reports to. Direct Report to: Dean of the School of Humanities, Arts & Design Essential Duties and Responsibilities. Teach select courses in Art and Art History Provide feedback and assessment of student performance. Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment. Demonstrate ongoing professional competency by seeking new knowledge, improving teaching skills, and remaining current in the academic discipline. Attend departmental meetings and participate in faculty development activities as required.
