US Department of Defense - - Responsibilities: Perform the complete cycle of centralized patient room service functions.; Assemble and portion assigned tray items (prepared main course, hot side items, condiments, salads, desserts, etc.) in accordance with (IAW) patient diet orders.; Transport food carts to wards and deliver trays directly to patients IAW established script and standard operating procedures.; Take food temperatures to ensure hot and cold foods are maintained at proper temperatures IAW with these standards.; Rotate foods on "first in, first out" cycle to prevent spoilage.
