Overview
TEKsystems is seeking a Senior Cloud Systems Engineer with deep expertise in Zero Trust architecture, enterprise infrastructure, and mission‑critical system design. This role supports globally distributed operations and requires a technical leader who can architect, design, and guide the evolution of secure, cloud‑enabled environments. You'll work on a fast‑paced, collaborative team where your expertise directly impacts national‑level missions and partner interoperability. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement future‑state cloud and enterprise architectures.
- Collaborate with mission stakeholders to align business needs, operational processes, and technology strategies.
- Utilize enterprise methodologies to build architecture models, diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Assess customer requirements and recommend modern, scalable cloud and security solutions.
- Define architectural requirements, POA&Ms, milestones, and modernization roadmaps.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies to support secure, distributed operations.
- Produce high‑level system design diagrams and engineering artifacts.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex workflow, planning, and system issues.
- Prepare technical assessments, white papers, briefings, and executive‑level presentation materials. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 15+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering, administration, and/or analysis
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Meets DoD 8140 IAT Level III certification requirements
- 10+ years of experience designing and implementing Zero Trust architectures Looking for Strong Expertise With:

- Network management tools (SolarWinds, ServiceNow, OpenNMS, Nessus, Splunk)
- NetApp storage systems
- Virtualization platforms (VMware vCenter, VMware vSphere)
