We are seeking a Principal Software Solutions Architect to lead solution design and architecture for complex enterprise platforms within a highly regulated environment. This role bridges business stakeholders and engineering teams, translating business needs into scalable technology solutions while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

This architect will work closely with product, engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to design and deliver large-scale systems supporting critical business operations. The role also provides technical leadership to engineering teams and helps shape long-term architecture strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Define solution architecture for complex enterprise systems and major technology initiatives
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical design specifications
• Partner with business, product, and engineering teams to develop scalable solutions and technology roadmaps
• Provide architectural direction and governance across engineering teams
• Evaluate technical trade-offs related to scalability, performance, security, and maintainability
• Participate in Agile delivery processes including design sessions and sprint planning
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, patterns, and best practices
• Identify integration, infrastructure, security, and other non-functional requirements
• Support vendor and platform evaluations
• Mentor architects and engineers on architecture and development practices

• 10+ years of experience in software architecture and enterprise solution design
• Strong background designing cloud-based and distributed systems
• Experience with modern application stacks such as Node/React, Salesforce, .NET, and relational databases
• Experience with system integration, APIs, event-driven architecture, and enterprise data platforms
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and messaging technologies
• Experience working in regulated environments such as healthcare, financial services, banking, or payments
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Experience with domain-driven architecture and large-scale enterprise integrations
• Agile development experience; Product Owner experience is a plus
• Master's degree or MBA preferred
