Location: Remote: California, Oregon, Nevada

Location Status: Work will be primarily performed remotely from home office 5 days per week. Employee may be required to utilize personal phone and internet services to perform telecommuting with reimbursement according to Race's telecommuting policy. Occasional travel to and work from other Race offices or off-site locations may be required.

Position Impact:

The Procurement Coordinator supports and oversees procurement activities by coordinating purchasing processes, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely ordering and delivery of goods and services. The role works closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, Accounts Payable, warehouses, and the Finance organization to ensure purchases are made on time, within budget, compliant with policies, and aligned with quality standards.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Eligibility for US Employment without sponsorship

• Minimum of 18 years of age

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred

• At least 1 year of experience in procurement or supply chain management is desirable

• Experience with procurement software and tools

• The ability to effectively communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension, as necessary for effective job performance and workplace communication

Skills:

• Proficient use of MS Office applications including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; teleconferencing applications

• Functional use of common office equipment, computers, and office software

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Purchase Order Management:

• Create, review, coordinate, and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in accordance with company policies

• Track order status, confirm delivery schedules, and follow up on delays or discrepancies to internal stakeholders

• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve pricing, quantity, quality, and delivery issues

Supplier & Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaises with suppliers to gather quotes, pricing, and lead times, maintaining effective communication to ensure accurate and timely procurement

• Serve as a primary point of contact between vendors, internal departments, warehouses, and Accounts Payable.

• Monitors supplier performance and maintain updated supplier information in the procurement database.

• Maintain supplier documentation, onboarding records, and compliance requirements.

• Communicates effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and vendors to relay order details, updates, and resolve any issues that may arise

Documentation, Compliance & Controls

• Maintains organized procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and relevant correspondence

• Ensures all procurement documentation is accurately recorded and easily accessible for reference and auditing

• Support 3 Way Match (PO, receipt, invoice) to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing.

• Assist in ensuring that all procurement activities adhere to company policies, regulations, and ethical standards

Systems, Reporting & Process Improvement

• Assist in preparing regular reports on procurement activities, order status, and supplier performance for management review

• Support system testing, enhancements, and issue resolution

• Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency and processes

Additional duties as required.
