MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Data Science/Analytics Intern to work 20hrs/week in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Candidates must be a US Citizen with an active Security Clearance or eligibility for a US Security Clearance

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Support technical work to grow your skills of Data Science/Analytics.

• Develop innovative solutions to Data Science challenges

• Collaborate with colleagues on guided projects directly flowing back to real contracts

Basic Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizen with an active Security Clearance or eligibility for a US Security Clearance

• Full Time student pursuing a BS or MS in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field with a graduation date no earlier than December 2026

• Coursework and/or prior internship related to data science/analytics

• Working knowledge of statistical modeling

• Working knowledge of Python, R, Scala, or JavaScript

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications :

• Prior research or studies in Indo-Pacific topics

• A passion for low-level / embedded data/science analytics

• Working knowledge of cloud computing/cloud storage and SQL

Clearance Requirements:

• Individuals must be a U.S. Citizen and either hold an active US Security Clearance or must be eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 80%
